MyOxygen Clinic is a new client win that I started work on at the back end of 2019. MyOxygen provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (or HBOT as it is also called) out of its London base, at the Chelsea Bridge Clinic (another of my clients).
HBOT is a really interesting and unique therapy that pumps increased oxygen into the body to improve energy, wellness and repair damaged tissue. It can be used to improve the body’s response to sports injuries, trauma, low energy, autism and even cancer.
How I’m helping MyOxygen with their Digital Marketing
Being a new service, Myoxygen needs to make an impact quickly and generate immediate leads into the clinic. To achieve this my team and I are working on the site to improve organic rankings and increase website traffic, by employing an SEO campaign, support by a Google Adwords paid search campaign.
The Adwords campaign is focused around direct buying terms and lead generation. We want to target people who already know a bit about HBOT, have heard about it and are ready to speak to an expert and to book their session.
The SEO campaign is designed more to focus on bringing in free visitor traffic in the medium to-long-term. Yes, it’s a slow burner but it removes the reliance on ads and reduces the cost of customer acquisition moving forward.
The key to any SEO campaign is to be found for key search terms that potential customers would be searching for. This may not the the direct buying keyword or the ‘money phrase’, like HBOT clinic, Hyperbaric Therapy Clinic or Oxygen Treatment. Our aim to appear for searches that people will enter before they even know what HBOT is. We want to appear in front of them when they are seeking a solution to a particular condition or problem.
The reason for this is simple. Regardless of industry, if you are competing on the name of the service then you are competing with thousands and thousands of other businesses because they are all pushing themselves. Locksmiths, restaurants, clinics, landscape gardeners, builders, plumbers and electricians are all highly competitive industries. To compete in Google for the name or type of service you offer, it is virtually impossible without spending a ton of time and money. You will alway lose out to the larger players.
However, you can win business if you appear in front of customers during their research and fact-finding stage. This is less competitive and is the approach I take with my clients.
Solutions to problems and pain is what people are looking for and that is where the opportunities are. Create well-crafted pages that deliver value, answers, trust and solutions to problem, then you rank highly and generate a good level of business. It’s not going to happen overnight but it is highly effective.
